Lexie Baker

From the artist: “I aim to create art that exudes optimism while honoring the darker, more complex chambers of the human heart. All art provokes thought—but illustration and collage can be a direct way to reflect our shared, interwoven human experience.

Piecing together collages with retro nudey magazines can be a tedious yet cathartic process. Picking out the imagery is also an erotic experience. I get to uncover specific emotion in my compositions after intricately cutting each individual piece with scissors and contributing hours to arranging shapes, colors and stories until I finally have that “ah-ha” moment. Sensual art is certainly a form of therapy for sensual people.

Through Psychedelicious, I strive to celebrate both the individual and the symbiotic connections we share with others and our environment. My work explores themes of empowerment, eroticism, psychedelic energy, the natural world, and our awe-struck relationship with the cosmos. My business is built on personal passion and a deep desire to outwardly radiate ecstatic vibrations.”
