This world is smaller than you think.

The art world: even smaller. 

Our gallery opened with our inaugural show Six Degrees, a group show celebrating the connections made through the process of creating art. Each artist was asked to recommend another who they would want to show with, creating a widely diverse range of style, medium, and content. 

Pulling from the theory of “Six Degrees of Separation” which posits that everyone is six (or less) introductions away from any other human on earth, this show carries a narrative of “friends of friends.” While the works may be very different in their execution, every artist participating in the show either knew the others or was just one introduction away.  

This is the second iteration of this exhibition, the first of which was held at Fecal Face Gallery in San Francisco in 2016. Both are curated by our director Rachel Ralph.
